    Real-Time Scheduling and Systems

    Timing guarantees for safety- and mission-critical systems

    This research aims at providing timing guarantees for safety- or mission-critical systems, such as real-time systems and cyber-physical systems. In particular, we develop real-time scheduling algorithms and their analysis techniques for timing guarantees. The research topics include real-time scheduling in uniprocessor and homogeneous/heterogeneous multiprocessor, mixed-criticality scheduling, security issues for real-time scheduling, real-time guarnatees for SSD, and real-time control for cyber-physical systems.

    Improvement of battery performance through computer science/engineering principles

    In this research area, we aim at improving battery performance by controlling them with computer science/engineering principles. The research topics include battery management systems for electric vehicles, battery scheduling for mobile devices, and scheduling for reconfigurable battery systems.
